Students present patriotic songs and cultural performances; school adorned in tricolour theme
Mungeli // On the occasion of Independence Day, Municipal Council President Rohit Shukla attended Minds Eye International School, Mungeli as the chief guest and hoisted the national flag. Addressing the students, he highlighted the importance of India’s independence and the role of youth in safeguarding it.
Rohit Shukla said, “Today is a day of pride and honour for all of us. We must always remain united to preserve our nation’s freedom. Instilling patriotism and moral values in children is the foundation of a strong India.”
Former Chairman of the Mungeli Agricultural Produce Market Committee, Atma Singh Kshatriya, also addressed the students, explaining “why independence is celebrated” and sharing stories of the struggles and sacrifices behind it.
The event was attended by Sagar Solanki, Councillor Urmila Yadav, Councillor Ajay Sahu, Councillor Kuldeep Patle, Councillor Representative Ravi Koshle, and Manoj Sonkar.
Following the flag hoisting, students performed patriotic songs, poems, and cultural programs. Parents of the students were also present in large numbers. The school campus was decorated in tricolour, creating an atmosphere filled with the spirit of patriotism.
